Hi! Thank you for taking the time to be part of Connecting Creatives. Can you tell us more about your background and how you got started on your business journey?


Anytime, Zack! My early career found me in the finance industry, bored and unfulfilled. Knowing I wanted to achieve more and have a greater impact, I left the comforts of a 9-5 to start Nature’s Festival. My brand has brought me a great amount of fulfilment as I saw myself making an impact in many people’s lives almost immediately.


I started NF to educate others on CBD and the benefits CBD can have when used properly.


What keeps you engaged and passionate about your small business?


People keep me passionate about what I do. I know the harder I push to get my products into stores and the hands of others, the more of a positive impact I’m able to make. I also enjoy the daily challenge of growing a business during a pandemic. I find myself learning constantly.

If you could give advice to your younger business self what would it be?


Where do I start? The advice I would give to my younger self would be to start reading at an earlier age. Readers are leaders and knowledge truly is power. I would also say dream big and keep those dreams with you as you get older. This has helped me with turning my vision into a reality. Never lose sight of what you want and work every single day to get 1% better.


What is a challenge you have faced as a small business and how have you overcome it?


A challenge I have faced as a small business owner has been starting my brand in the middle of a pandemic. My original goal was to market purely to the music festival industry and that was shot down as soon as COVID hit. I learned to adapt quickly and expanded the demographic I marketed my products to. This was a blessing in disguise as I now have my full product line selling in two retail stores in Arizona.

What do you want people to take away from your small business?


I want people to understand that there are healthy alternatives to using painkillers, opioids, etc. You can get the same relief using CBD products without the risk of addiction or intoxicating effects.


What is the next milestone for you?


Oooh that’s a loaded question. I have so many goals for Nature’s Festival in 2021 but the biggest one is to get my products into 10 more retail locations by the end of the year and launch the website, naturesfestival.com. I love seeing the impact my products have had on people and would love nothing more than to share them to a larger audience.
